Privacy Policy

How Scimly handles data — on this website, and inside the products themselves.

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

Scimly Guard and Scimly Insight run entirely on your own device. When you analyze a CSV export or connect a live directory, that data is processed on your own machine — it is never uploaded to, or stored on, any server we operate. We built the products this way on purpose, and this policy reflects that.

Data from our software

The CSV-based editions of Scimly Guard read the file you provide locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. The live Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID connectors authenticate directly between your device and Google/Microsoft using your own app registration or OAuth flow — Scimly never receives your access token, your directory data, or a copy of the results. Reports you generate (PDF, Markdown, or CSV) are created and saved locally on your device.

Data from this website

This website may use basic, aggregate analytics (such as page-view counts) to understand traffic and improve the site. We do not sell visitor data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Payhip, a third-party payment provider. Payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.) are collected and processed by Payhip directly — we do not see or store your full payment information. Please refer to Payhip's own privacy policy for details on how they handle that data.

Cookies

This site may use a small number of essential cookies for basic site functionality and, if enabled, anonymous analytics cookies. It does not use cookies for third-party advertising.

Your choices

  • Because the software itself never transmits your data to us, there is nothing for us to delete or export on your behalf — it stays on your device throughout.
  • You can clear any locally stored report files the same way you'd delete any other file from your computer.
  • For questions about data Payhip holds regarding a purchase, contact Payhip support directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site or software after a change means you accept the updated policy.
