The terms that apply when you purchase or use Scimly Guard, Scimly Insight, or this website.
Acceptance of terms
By purchasing, downloading, or using any Scimly product, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use our products or this site.
What you're buying
Each Scimly Guard edition is a one-time purchase of a self-contained desktop application (a Windows installer), delivered through Payhip along with a license key. You may install and run it on your own devices for your own business or client work. It is not a subscription, and it does not include ongoing hosting, since the product runs entirely on your own machine rather than on a server we operate.
License
Purchasing an edition grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that copy of the software, up to the device limit listed for that edition, for your own or your organization's internal purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the software itself as your own product.
No warranty
Scimly products are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we test our tools carefully, we do not guarantee that results (readiness scores, flagged accounts, cost calculations, etc.) are complete, error-free, or suitable for any specific compliance or audit requirement. You remain responsible for verifying findings before acting on them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scimly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
Third-party services
Some editions connect to third-party services (Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID/Graph) or use third-party infrastructure (Payhip for payments). Your use of those services is governed by their own respective terms, which we don't control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our products or this site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
